Accessibility options

Parts of this site move. Photographs drift slowly behind the headline on the home page, headings and panels rise into view as you scroll, and some things react when you point at them. If that is uncomfortable or distracting, you can switch all of it off here.

Turning movement off changes nothing else. Every word, link, photograph and page stays exactly where it is. We remember your choice on this device for a year, and you can change it back at any time.

Other things that help

Every page works with the keyboard alone. Press Tab to move, and the first stop on any page is a "Skip to content" link that jumps you past the navigation. Whatever you are on always shows a visible outline.

If something on this site is hard to use, we want to hear about it, and we would rather hear early than not at all. Tell us through the contact form and a person will read it.
